Explaining club volleyball, including costs, commitments, policies, locations, events, and what families should consider when selecting a club.
Helping players and parents determine the appropriate age division and playing level.
Resolving registration issues such as duplicate records, login problems, club assignment questions, and technical challenges.
Supporting new clubs through the onboarding process.
Assisting clubs with registration, roster creation, and roster troubleshooting.
Promoting additional playing opportunities for athletes throughout the region.
Growing Participation, Programs, and Membership
Regions serve as the foundation for grassroots volleyball by:
Recruiting, training, mentoring, and advancing officials at every level.
Managing regional insurance programs, including certificates of insurance, incident reporting, and member assistance with insurance claims.
Hiring staff and contractors to support regional events.
Organizing and operating USA Volleyball-sanctioned indoor, beach, and grass tournaments by securing facilities, developing budgets, setting fees, managing registration, creating schedules, and ensuring a safe, positive participant experience.
Promoting volleyball through regional websites, social media, newsletters, and community outreach.
Providing location-specific information about local programs, tournaments, clinics, and opportunities to encourage participation.

Assisting USA Volleyball with staffing national events.

Regions are committed to creating a safe and positive environment by:
Managing ethics and eligibility cases not handled by SafeSport or USA Volleyball.
Assisting with background screening follow-up by working directly with members, clubs, and screening providers to resolve outstanding requirements.
Promoting SafeSport education through websites, communications, and regional events.
Enforcing sportsmanship expectations and spectator codes of conduct to ensure safe, respectful, and enjoyable experiences for athletes, coaches, officials, and families.
