Oh, the Volleyball Referees, what a sight to see, With their whistles and flags, so full of glee. They climb up the stand, their eyes keen and bright, Making sure the game is played just right.

They watch every play, with a watchful eye, Calling out the faults, or a point to apply.

They signal for net faults, and foot faults too, And when the ball’s out, they know what to do. They blow their whistles, a toot and a tweet, To make sure the players are playing fair and neat.

They keep track of the score, with flags up high, Flipping them over, as points pass by. One for the home team, and one for away, They wave those flags, in a rhythmic display.

They referee colleges, club, and high schools, Ah what a challenge to know all three sets of rules!

But sometimes, oh sometimes, they make a mistake, They’re only human, for goodness sake! They might miss a touch or a ball that’s in, But they’ll do their best, and try again.

They’re like the guardians of the volleyball court, Ensuring fairness, with a watchful report. They’re not there to pick sides, or show favoritism, Their duty is to maintain the game’s realism.

So let’s give a cheer, for the volleyball referees, For their dedication, and efforts to please. They may not always get it right on the dot, But without them, the game would not be so hot!!
