Ryan Lynn and Holly Plank earn Provisional Referee patches

Holly Plank recently received her USAV Provisional Referee patch in Harrisburg. She fell in love with volleyball playing for Cumberland Valley High School. When she was a teacher, she coached middle school girls’ volleyball in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Currently she is a science teacher and PHD candidate at the University of Pittsburgh. In her spare time, Holly can be found playing in the Steel City Volleyball League, officiating for the Golden Triangle Volleyball Chapter, and paddleboarding with her dog Merry.

Ryan Lynn is a fifth-grade teacher in the Norwin School District. He was a setter at Norwin and played collegiately for Saint Francis. Ryan went on to be a varsity assistant at Norwin under Al Warden for approximately ten years. He began officiating PIAA in 2016, and started his USAV officiating career three years ago. He is looking forward to reaching his fullest potential as an official and has had many mentors along his journey. He attained his USAV Regional rating in Harrisburg.
