Officials Membership
Welcome to the 2024-2025 USA Volleyball season! Membership will be available September 1st. If you have questions pertaining to a KRVA/USAV membership through SportsEngine, please email the Keystone Region at results@krva.org or call (610) 401-3362. ALL MEMBERSHIPS EXPIRE ON AUGUST 31st each season.
Purchase Membership
Please use the link below to register for your membership. It is important that you use the same first name, last name, and date of birth as your account from last season so that we can verify who you are.
The KRVA Office will review your request for membership. If you have registered with us in the past, you will receive a unique link to register as a member of the Keystone Region. A credit card is required to pay for your membership in SportsEngine. For those who need a background screening, there will be a separate charge as it is not part of the registration process. You will apply for the background screening after the member registration is complete. There will also be a processing fee charged.
If you are a new member to KRVA, we will follow up with an email before we send you the membership link. We want to make sure that you are getting the correct membership.
How to Access Membership Cards
Membership cards in the new system will be digital. You will have the ability to pull up a QR code on your phone, and that code can be scanned to show all of the relevant information about a member.

Additional Clearances
All officials must comply with PA Act 153. It is your responsibility to complete these and a copy DOES NOT need to be sent to the KRVA Office.
- Criminal History Record from the PA State Police (PATCH) system
- Child Abuse Clearance obtained through the Department of Public Welfare
- Fingerprint screening (this does not include volunteers with ten year consistent PA residence) – Service Code: 1KG756
Eligibility Requirements
An individual who has met all requirements will appear as “Eligible”.
Once you purchase your membership, you will receive an email outlining all the eligibility requirements that you need to complete. You will also see which requirements have been met or are still outstanding in your SportsEngine account. Eligibility requirements include SafeSport training, background screening, officiating courses, and completion of waivers.
Background screenings will also be a separate purchase, done after your membership purchase is complete. You will automatically receive a link via email to purchase a background screening, if you need it. USAV has changed their background screening policy and has increased the cost to members – $14 for a year (this cost is not paid to the Keystone Region and the Keystone Region does not collect any money from background screen charges). International Background Screens require an additional fee. Should you require an International Background Screening, the background screening organization (NCSI) will reach out to you directly during the membership purchasing process.
Since you require SafeSport training, the system will send you a link via email to complete the training. The system will automatically load the appropriate training for you (Core vs. Refresher) and it will be available for completion in your profile.
All of these requirements can be accessed and completed via the links in the email from SportsEngine that you receive after purchasing your membership. Your SportsEngine profile will also show these steps. An individual who has met all requirements will appear as “Eligible” in the system.
WE RECOMEND COMPLETEING ALL ELIGIBITY REQUIREMENTS FROM YOUR SPORTSENGINE ACCOUNT.
