Coach Memberships
Welcome to the 2023-2024 USA Volleyball season! If you have questions pertaining to a KRVA/USAV membership through SportsEngine, please email the Keystone Region at results@krva.org or call (610) 401-3362. ALL MEMBERSHIPS EXPIRED ON AUGUST 31st each season
Purchase Membership
In order to participate in a Keystone Region event, all individuals MUST be registered with the Keystone Region. This pertains to all on-court activities: shagging, calling lines, keeping score, etc.
There will be a series of questions to determine what type of membership you will need to be purchase for the membership. When you get to the checkout page, you will see two “transactions” that equal the total membership price. One transaction represents the fees going to the Keystone Region, and the other represents the fees going to USAV. You will still be charged the same amount – you are just going to see an itemized breakdown. You may also see two separate charges (totaling the amount of your membership) on a credit card statement.
After your membership is purchased, you may receive an e-mail outlining the additional steps necessary to become eligible to participate (if required). This can include a background screening, SafeSport training, etc. Your account will also show these requirements.
If a family has multiple members, they can all have their membership information in the same master account, using one set of login credentials called a “family account.”
If you are looking for a full season membership with your club, click here to to view the directory of active clubs in the Keystone Region. Find your club and click on them. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to purchase a membership.
If you are looking to participate in Summer Tryouts and did NOT coach in a USAV club this past season, click here and scroll down to the Summer Coach Membership. This membership is only available July 1st through August 31 and is not upgradeable.
Eligibility Requirements
All individuals will have an eligibility status. An individual who has met all requirements will appear as “Eligible”. Once a membership is purchased, you will receive an Eligibility email outlining all requirements they need to meet and will clearly see in your account the remaining requirements that need to be met. Eligibility requirements range from SafeSport training, IMPACT training, background screen approval, concussion training, and completion of waivers.
WE RECOMMEND COMPLETING ALL ELIGIBITY REQUIREMENTS FROM YOUR SPORTSENGINE ACCOUNT
Background screenings will also be a separate purchase, done after your membership purchase is complete. You will automatically receive a link via e-mail to purchase a background screening if you need it. USAV has changed their background screening policy and has increased the cost to members – $14 for a year (this cost is not paid to the Keystone Region and the Keystone Region does not collect any money from background screen charges).
International Background Screens require an additional fee (average $75 to $150, in some rare cases up to $300.) Ths is required, in addition to the US screening, for those individuals who have resided outside of the US for 6 months or longer OR for those individuals who maintain a foreign citizenship. Should you require an International Background Screening, the background screening organization (NCSI) will reach out to you directly during the membership purchasing process.
Since SafeSport training is required, the system will send you a link via e-mail to complete the training. The system will automatically load which training is appropriate for you (Core vs. Refresher) and it will be available in your profile for you to complete.
