We’ve learned that one of our officials, Larry Fetterhoff, is retiring from officiating after a storied 47-year career.
Larry has made countless contributions to both the sport and officiating throughout the years. Larry became a certified Junior National referee in 2002. During that time, he officiated many high-level matches and mentored many of our up-and-coming officials. Larry retired from his Junior National rating in 2017 but continued to mentor and contribute to our referees. There was rarely a moment when Larry would not be talking with a referee, coach, or whoever and offering invaluable guidance.
He will be sorely missed on the court and in the referee room. We wish you the very best in your retirement.
