Volleyball is more than a sport—it’s a community built by the people who give their time, energy, and heart to keep it thriving. The Keystone Region Volleyball Association is proud to launch our new Staff Spotlight Series, a collection of stories highlighting the officials and staff who make volleyball possible across Pennsylvania.
This three-part series goes beyond the scoreboard. It’s about personal journeys—how an official found their way from a local YMCA court to the national stage, how a staff member’s behind-the-scenes dedication ensures smooth seasons for thousands of athletes, and how each person’s passion fuels our region’s growth.
A Glimpse Inside the Series
- In our first set of features, you’ll hear from: Four officials sharing their stories of dedication, growth, and lessons learned on and off the court.
- Next, we continue the series with interviews from three region staff members reflecting on what drives their service to the volleyball community.
- Finally, in November you will hear from various club directors who share their reasons for staying involved in the sport and why.
Together, their experiences showcase the resilience, leadership, and love for the game that define Keystone Region Volleyball.
